King Diamond's vocals really impress me, he even manages to pull off a good-sounding falsetto only adding to the atmosphere.

Apparently I don't listen to nearly enough sludge, cause I've so far been ignorant of this awesomeness.

I didn't know where else to put this... but I'm watching the American Dad episode 'Raptures Delight' and they played a track by The Sword. It is an excellent episode for that and at least a dozen other reasons, wish the whole show was like this.

As you were.

Listened to this a few days ago for the Metal Album Club and couldn't have been more bored, but then I went and listened to my copy of We've Come For You All, a John Bush-Anthrax album I dig, and now it's clicking.

I don't know what's funnier, the vocals or the drums. Either way I am amused that people take this band seriously.
