My favourite song from Sigh's debut album. I think they could've been a great pure Black Metal band if they decided to stick with just Black Metal, but I'm still much happier they chose to experiment so much in their later albums. This band is also one of the very few Japanese bands I've come to like, but they soon became one of my favourites, if not my #1 favourite.

I haven't listened to that album but their song 'Amnesia' is ****ing fantastic, definitely one of the later more experimental tracks. I'll grant this was pretty ****ing cool too. I hope I can expect an enjoyable journey as I listen to this album up through their more recent, because there's a very marked difference without sacrificing the music.

I like plenty of glam metal, but I don't really love much of it. So why I'm so obsessed with Motley Crue is beyond me. It's not like they're the only one with non-ironically good albums, but they're the only one that bring out that giddy Oh-my-****ing-god-they-****ing-rule-so-****ing-much! feeling in me.

Yeah, I personally love all of Sigh's albums but my favourites are "In Somniphobia" (the album that Amnesia is from,) "Imaginary Sonicscape," and "Hail Horror Hail." I'd recommend either checking out "In Somniphobia" (since you liked a song from it,) or "Imaginary Sonicscape" first.

Here's one of my favourite songs from "Imaginary Sonicscape" called "Slaughtergarden Suite" which I'm listening to now.

I've always been kind of dubious about listening to this album, cause I mean, really? A serious, mature album by the guy who wrote "**** Like a Beast"? But this is actually pretty bitchin' so far.

It's not entirely ungoofy and overblown, but it's still good enough that I don't mind so much.

I'm listening to some good Italian Avant-garde Black Metal. I've found trumpet and other brass instruments can actually work quite well in Black Metal thanks to Mors Tua and a few other bands.

People go on about late-eighties Overkill, but I contend that their first two albums, Feel the Fire and Taking Over, are their best. They just have a raw, unpolished energy that they lost with Under the Influence.
