I think it's funny that a band so associated with Satanic lyrics actually started to move away from Satanism with their most famous album. The first two were Satanic to the bone, but with Reign In Blood they started to make their lyrics more about things like serial killers. Then on the next they ditched most of the supernatural elements all together and started going on about social issues.

Aw man, got into the power metal mood after posting to Black Francis and Angra is just amazing. They may not be the heaviest PM band by a mile, but they can use melody like no other.

Hail Spirit Noir is excellent, I just got into them recently myself. Lots of great heavy psychadelic bands on the horizon with the past year or so, I sense a new genre in the making.

Whenever I have a bad day, I put this on and it cheers me up so much (Ironic, considering it is Depressive Black Metal).... It is just so funny to me. It starts off so mellow and actually soothing, and then when the vocals kick in, it is a laugh-a-thon to me. They remind me of Strong Bad's high pitched screams in "Trogdor", but set to black metal music. It is so awesome.

One of those albums I hated at first, but now I just find it so amazingly weird, it is fun (in small doses).

That mini drum solo at around 2:10 is just about the coolest thing I've ever heard.
