Poison doesn't sound much like Motley Crue. Poison kind of sucks. I like about 3 songs, and they're all played on radio somewhere everyday, so I'm kind of sick of hearing them.

My point was, this stuff really sounds like the Crue, which is a good thing for me, since I consider them to be one of the better hair metal bands.

Speaking of great glam metal Batty, I think you'd really dig Cats In Boots and Heavy Bones. Oh, and that Crimson Glory album I reviewed awhile back called Strange & Beautiful.

I seem to remember saying that I didn't listen to as much thrash as I used to on here a few days ago. So I'm contradicting myself with some Forbidden.

Fun, bordering on goofy Thrash Metal that makes Venom proud. Dogs with Jobs was a band started by Gord Kirchin after the break-up of his other band, the fantastic Piledriver.

Canadian Metal, what can you say?

To be honest "I like about 3 songs" is pretty much the way I'd describe most of the highest tier glam metal bands.

Higher tier, as in more recognizable? Yeah, I'm about the same way. I think GnR, Motley Crue, W.A.S.P., Ratt, Celtic Frost (Cold Lake), Pantera (Pre-Cowboys From Hell), Queensryche, Stryper, and Skid Row were pretty good. I'm sure there are other good hair metal bands that I'm missing, but these are the ones that come to mind right now.

Slaughter is still a favorite of mine.
