Some surprisingly good modern day thrash. It's nothing new and the vocals aren't particularly great but the production on this album gives this a bite that most of these new bands don't have with their self-consciously old school sound. It helps that they know how to do Slayer/Exodus worship without being boring.

Edit: I just had to check to see if Exodus' Rob Dukes was their vocalist. He isn't.

This is some criminally underrated death/thrash proto-groove metal. This song just demands the head to bang.

Been listening to some brutal thrash these days. Exhorder, Devasation, and now some band called Protector. They haven't been quite delivering so far, but this song just kicked into gear and is kicking my ass.

Really digging their earlier works. Murder is pretty hard hitting, catchy, but still manage to have odd rhythms.

I've been on a brutal thrash kick recently and this is one of the best albums in that style. It sits perfectly between thrash and death metal. Bags of energy with a brutal attack that shatters the eardrums with extreme prejudice. And that vocalist is one of the best extreme metal singers I've ever heard.

Hands down, best use of the German National Anthem in a metal song. Quite possibly the only instance, but it still kicks insane amounts of ass.
