Aw yeah. Some epic power/doom metal about vikings.

Really impressed, this is the first time i've listened to these guys:

Good lord! Power thrash about swords and battle. I don't think it's physically possible for a band to be less original. I love it.

Awesome song. Buzzhov*en are quite a distinct sludge band. I love how this song has a dark edgy feel, but not too obvious, and kind of groovy. Wouldn't fail your ears.

I was just listening to them a few days ago. Pretty good stuff, and seems a bit more light-hearted and upbeat than a lot of sludge.

And speaking of light-hearted, fun sludge, I was listening to Torche earlier. I know they barely qualify as metal (I now classify them as "bubblegum sludge"), but I keep coming back to them. They're just such a blast to listen to!

PS- If anyone has a link to their latest album, I'd appreciate you hooking a brother up. I haven't listened to it yet, but I assume I'll like it.

God I love Obituary. Nothing but the most crushing riffs, a production to make a zombie gag, and vocals that sound like a PETA expose on the inhumane practices of the meat industry.

Still think Undertow is vastly underrated for a Tool album. Driven raging lyrics that doesn't sound emo and instead makes a mark. Intense. Great. Yeah.

Been listening to some Jex Thoth on the recommendation of someone here (forgive me, I forget who it was, I've had a lot of different recommendations for doom). Pretty damn good classic rock-infused doom with nice soaring female vocals, which is fairly unusual for metal in general, but cool.
