Nope. I've known about them forever.

Listening to Danzig's third album. Rick Rubin's production on their debut may have taken away the evil, gothic atmosphere from the Samhain days, but it also gave it power that just hit like a hammer. This album was produced by Danzig himself, and it doesn't have quite the same sonic impact, but you can certainly smell the brimstone on it, unlike their debut. Kinda gives me the same vibe as a High On Fire album.

I woke up with a desperate need to listen to some Motorhead. It's been far, far too long. Starting from the beginning, I think I'm going to try to listen to every album... maybe not all at once, but I'm going to do it.

Here's the track that I'm listening to right now. Before they went metal, they were just another dirty rock n roll band. Still awesome.

Danzig's Danzig III: How the Gods Kill is officially one of the best things I've ever heard.

III is much more metal sounding than I. It's just awesome stuff. Check out the opening tracks of II, "A Long Way Back From Hell" and "Her Black Wings", they're absolutely killer.

Finally got around to Fates Warning, and I'd say they're giving Helloween a ran for the money.
