Good taste, dude. I never would have thunk you'd like the Nug. While you got it, check out "Just What The Doctor Ordered".

It's pretty catchy, I've never heard of him before. The guy really sounds like Ozzy.

You've never heard of THE NUGE? :yikes:

Maybe I'm just biased here because I'm from Kentucky... but I thought everyone on earth had heard this man. He's been around forever, and he is definitely one of the greats of classic rock. Listen to his albums and learn. Really, if you listen to enough Ted Nugent, ZZ Top, and the Eagles you become a redneck. Truth.

Wow MB'ers into Ted Nugent. His first two albums were good but it was his third that was his best Catch Scratch Fever also his live album Double Gonzo Live was great as well. After that though he seemed to lose it.

Nope. I'm only 24 so there are a lot of oldies I don't know. :P But I will. Album rec?

I love that Quorthon went out with a bang. He hadn't done so well throughout the nineties, but with the Nordland albums (or at least the first one, since I still need to listen to the second one), he regained his glory.

I grew up on Ted Nugent. I don't really listen to him a lot these days but I'd be lying if I said I didn't like him.

Hey, I'm 20 so age is no excuse. But you are Australian, which is a pretty good reason. Ted is a staple of the American south, has been for years. He's also crazy. Has more guns than a small South American revolutionary group.

Only ZZ Top without synthesizers is real. The rest has potential, but is ruined by that **** :(

Australia has jack all with very minimal knowledge of music. Especially in Sydney. If you want a club master DJ'ing ear yanking brain damage debauched promoting artist on drugs, this is the place to come to.

But I'm still surprised that I've never heard of him for some reason.

He's not that well known in the UK either, the only people that would know him would be people into that kind of music.
