Default Lou reed and metallica

Has anyone heard this song preview that they just released? Its horrible. I don't see how they could possibly think it sounds good. I'm a fan of Lou reeds work with the velvet underground and a fan of metallica but I still think this is garbage. Its such a weird combonation, I didn't think it was gonna work and I was right. What do you guys think?

I'm a Lou Reed fan, and I have to admit I've never liked Metallica (except for some of their lyrics.)
I heard about this pairing a couple of weeks ago and my first reaction was "what a weird combination, it's probably going to sound awful."
After listening to it, I have to say it sounds as bad as I thought it would.

I like Lou Reed and I like Metallica... hate everything I have they have done together.

That Sweet Jane video was bad. Probably wouldn't have been if it wasn't for James singing "sweeeeet jaaaaaaaanee".. I couldn't get past that, killed it for me.

But the thought of Lou Reed singing a song like Whiplash or Motorbreath is mildly amusing.

I will listen to the album when it comes out, out of curiosity... but I am already expecting a b-album that works more as a failed experiment, not something that will rock the world.

Already calling it St. Anger part Lou.

Suppose this makes them both the Pat Boone of their respected genres.

It's a given with Metallica. They've been grasping at straws for some time now.
