Saw them when their concert was being streamed to theaters. Missed most of Anthrax because they started way early, Dave's voice sounded like crap to to an illness in Megadeth's set, Slayer was fine (and they turned the volume WAY up during their set haha), but Metallica was absolutely perfect. I'm not the biggest Metallica fan, but seriously. AWESOME show.

And it's a shame that we missed Anthrax because after watching their set's youtube videos, they did better than Megadeth and Slayer put together. They had so much energy, it looked like THEY were about to start moshing!

I'm very skeptical. I don't think Metallica have been awesome live since 1998.

Especially due to Hetfields ridiculously unfunny 80 minute rants between songs.

Terence Hill, as recently confirmed during an interview to an Italian TV talk-show, was offered the role but rejected it because he considered it "too violent". Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.
Al Pacino = God

Be skeptical all you like, it was good. It must have been some sort of fluke though, because I have heard some more recent live recordings from them that were absolutely TERRIBLE. Like their most recent live album, live at... Grimey's, I think. My brother bought it (he being a recovering Merallica addict, the poor boy)... One ofthe biggest pieces of crap ever passed off as a metal CD.

They were all great live, but Slayer was by far the best the night I went.

Didn't really rant at all when I saw them. They were great live though.

I am always on the lookout for new thrash bands and allthough they are only new to me, I was wondering if anyone has heard of Legion of the Damned and what they thought of them.

Been listening to a lot of Sepultura lately. Arise is brilliant. Wish there were native instruments on more than just one song.

You should check out Roots and Chaos A.D. if you haven't already.
