Wait to see how long it takes, haha.... Looking at my Death Metal thread, I do not think there has even been a single mention of Cannibal Corpse...
Maybe the mods could ban anybody who dares to mention Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer or Anthrax on this thread

Well, better ban me for posting a Slayer video then hahaha.

Sad if I get banned from my own thread.

I have nothing against the discussion of those bands, so long as they are talked about in relation to the scene as a whole. When talking about Thrash it is impossible to not mention them when talking about impact and inspiration on virtually every band since.

I have their albums on my computer here, should get around to listening to them.

Morbid Saint is amazing. Love that record and the other one as well.

Sacred Reich, I do not know.. need to give em a few more listens.. but they have not really gripped me from what I have heard. Will listen to them again soon. Sometimes it is just a matter of being in the right frame of mind.

Whiplash is another one I should revisit. Heard a few tracks by them and enjoyed them.
Surf Nicaragua is pretty excellent, cept for the War Pigs cover

me, I like Voivod, Forced Entry and the abovenamed SR

So you like more of the technical thrash metal?

You should listen to some Watchtower. They were the start of all that.

Thrash is good. I'm not one to go into extreme detail and name millions of bands though.
Who remembers Sacred Reich? Underrated, in that they are often overlooked, and their albums have lame reviews they don't deserve.
Flotsam & Jetsam and Toxik are nice.

Srsly, I know too much.

I didn't notice SR were already mentioned.

If you're into tech thrash, check out Toxik, Artillery, Dark Angel, Watch Tower, VEKTOR!, Heathen, and the like. I just had a bunch more in mind but totally blanked.
