I love those albums... especially "Terorrizer"..... at one point I would say "Terrorizer" was the best of the bunch, but now I see "Horrified" by Repulsion as being the top of the list of those 3 big name grind albums.
this album is climbing my ranks as being one of the best metal albums as well: What "Horrified" is to Grindcore, this is the equivalent album in Death/Thrash Metal for me.

**** yeah! I was just rediscovering that album a week or so ago myself. Amazing album. Perfect production and the songs go nicely between fast and furious and mid paced and crushing. Also an honorable mention to the vocals, which are "extreme" enough to satisfy but have enough camp so that you don't have to take them totally seriously.

Even if you don't like it (and the cover of Evil Woman spoils the albums credentials), it just can't be beaten even though better albums have been made since. Metal is one of the very few genres that can really pinpoint an album as it's starting point and please don't let the Proto Metal brigade start the usual arguments about who started it all etc. I like Blue Cheer, I like The Kinks, I like the blues but not one single band had ever made a song like the title track from this album. For good or bad this is the album that defined it. Not bad for a bunch of unemployed vagabonds who were making it up on the spot over a 12 hour recording schedule.

yeah, it is the weakest link on the album for sure... just Kurt Cobain bashing on some drums... but even with that song, it is their strongest of that era.

LOL! you did the same thing he did with that change. Just changed Nile to Metallica and didn't even say which one... I mean I am going to go ahead and assume you are referring to "Master of Puppets"... but still...
