Best metal album of all time? Probably not. One of the most consistently underrated albums? Without question. "Necropolis", "Feeling Free Again", and "The Ram" are three heavy metal classics. They should be in regular rotation on the radio.... they're accessible, well written, well executed, and so fun. ****ing shame.

I've not heard Sepultura's Roots, but it would have to be very, very good to rank above Pantera's Vulgar Display Of Power. What I've heard of Sepultura, I can't see them being capable of such a feat.

I'm a huge Pantera fan (they're not liked much on this forum) But when it comes for me to impress somebody with metal, I'd play Pantera first like a starter and set them up for the main course with Sepultura.

U do realise that Sepultura were around years before Pantera bored us all with their boring riffs?
