Yes, Derek Trucks is great. Unbelievable guitarist. What are the chances that an original member of the band would have a nephew that would be as talented as Derek Trucks, and would go on to become an official member of the band (Derek is drummer Butch Trucks nephew, if you didn't know)? Warren Haynes is great too, I saw him a couple months ago, hell of a show.

^ Nice solo, nice clip ! DT has quite a restrained, controlled style, but he always hits the spot when he wants to. Yes, strange that he`s the drummer`s nephew; he must`ve been paying careful attention and soaking it all up when he listened to his uncle`s band :-

You were lucky to see Warren Haynes live. Was that as part of Gov`t Mule, or in his own right ?

It was his solo act. art neville from the meters came out and jammed a few songs with him. It was great. Idk how it slipped my mind! I saw Gregg Allman too. Idk if youve heard of bonnaroo, but thats where i saw them. I was so disappointed that they didnt join each other on stage, but getting to see them play their separate sets was still amazing

I saw Blackfoot live, along with Molly Hatchet, the former especially rocked the stage.
