Default Chimaira

Noticed there was no Chimaira thread.

Not gonna write a biography on them. Chimaira is a groove metal band from Cleveland, Ohio. They are pretty good. Great actually. Nuff said.
I like all their albums, but I have yet to pick a favorite (right now it is teetering between Pass Out of Existence and Chimera) If I make my mind up I'll just edit this post. Also, I think their 2010 DVD "Coming Alive" is one of the best, if not the best, live concert DVDs ever.

What do you think of them?

What is your favorite album? Why?

From the live DVD:

I like Chimaira as well. I think Pass Out the Existence is a weak album but The Impossibility of Reason and Chimaira are two good albums that I really like. Ressuerection though is an average album and I`ve still yet to hear The Infection.

The Infection is much better than Resurrection I'd say. I can see why you wouldn't like POoE but I really like the subtle electronic effects they used on that one. Chimaira showed that you can do so without losing the groove metal flavor in a time where nu-metal was still king.
