After listening to Unto the Locust I actually will give it my vote. It is more groovy than The Blackening and I enjoy the vocals much better. Some parts even remind me a bit of Lamb of God. I also think the songs are more distinctive from one another.

The Blackening wins that battle 4-1. Next up are a couple of doom/gothic metal albums with death/black metal influences chosen by Me (The Batlords battle will follow this one) from two bands that hardly ever get mentioned on here but are well worth the listen.
