^ LOL!

Homer would not say D'oh and Salivate. Please retake Simpsons 101.

I have Mordred's first album, but I haven't heard anything else except for a few songs. I dig them, but I don't see them putting up any sort of fight against Celtic Frost. You know, cause they're ****ing CELTIC FROST, and Into the Pandemonium is pretty much one of the greatest metal albums of all time.

Hey guys, I've decided to change the order of the war, as it could end up being a Celtic Frost walkover, they will now go on last, so we can generate more interest in the other albums. So first battle is Mordred vs Naked City and I've changed the album covers as well.

I know most people don't do this, but I usually just get the album up on wiki for the song order and then just play them on Youtube.

Naked City isn't metal at all, but they get my vote. Mordred was kinda lame, and John Zorn is a genius beyond definition of the word.

Naked City 1
Mordred 0

Naked City > Into the Pandemonium

I never had this feeling while listening to Amber Grey; throughout the whole of the album I was actively engaged. The way the mid-tempo grooves or melodies of the guitars mirrored the more typical grind passages were highlights for me as were the vox.
I don't know if you're familiar with Discordance Axis, but one of things that truly almost ruins that band is the "hardcore" influence; I use scary quotes because I reference the genre of Converge, not classics like Negative Approach. Gridlink manage to restrain the "hardcore" influence, but it's still pops up, like an alien bursting through the chest of an otherwise good song....
