Possessed: 4 Sepultura: 1 I've gotta go with Seven Churches because .. I simply like it more. Possessed: 5 Sepultura: 1 You're doing it wrong. Maiden already won.

Morbid Visions is seriously getting it arse kicked on here I hate to mirror everybody else`s opinions but Possessed got it right straight away with Seven Chruches and that album must have sounded brutal for 1985! Whilst Morbid Visions sounds like a demo done in a spare bedroom. Also Morbid Visions is pre-Andreas Kisser and it was when he arrived that things really got moving for Seps. Also that Morbid Visions album cover is so f*ucking bad if defies belief

It is not the best cover for Sepultura..... but compared to "Bestial Devestation" it is a masterpeice..
just awesome...

I'd have to go with Sepultura on this one. It's definitely not their best, but it speaks to me much in the same way that Hell Awaits does. It has this primitive, ugly, atmospheric quality to it that I dig. Seven Churches on the other hand, I've never been a big fan of. I don't hate it, but I don't love it either. It just kinda sounds noisy to me. It has flashes of brilliance, but half the time it just sorta sounds like they were making noise without really worrying about whether or not it sounded good.
Possessed: 6 Sepultura: 2 Side Note: You know I was actually going to suggest almost this same thing. Except it was going to be Seven Churches and Death's Scream Bloody Gore. Great minds think alike I guess.
