These are all great albums, but I gotta go with the one that came out first. Rainbow's Rising is one of those albums that changes your life. So good. Holy Diver is a close second.

And the SONG "Heaven and Hell" is one of my favorite Sabbath songs... but I find that the rest of the album doesn't really match up to the other two albums in the war. Sorry, fans of this album.

Hey you really ought to know these albums and I reckon you`d really enjoy the three Rainbow albums with Dio.

Rainbow Rising is a real classic especially with its great use of keyboards and Dio`s fantasy syle lyrics, I was actually thinking of putting up Long Live Rock n Roll probably my favourite Rainbow album with Dio, but as I`ve never seen it mentioned on these threads, I guessed less people would know it. Heaven and Hell is a great album and again I slightly prefer the MOB Rules album, but again doesn`t get mentioned as often as Heaven and Hell and the first three Dio Band albums are a great listen.

Voting should be:

Rainbow 1
Black Sabbath 0
Dio 0

Never liked Dio much. I'll sit this one out.

I definitely have to choose Heaven and Hell over Holy Diver, though it is an great album too. Unfortunately I've barely listened to any Rainbow, so I will have to vote later.

Rainbow..Dio..Dio..Rainbow

Man! now that's a hard one.

I Love Rainbow, but I will go with Dio for the hell of it. And of course Ronnie James. One of the greatest rock vocalist of all time. Dio just brings back more memories. Holy Diver is.."Holy"! in the annals of rock. Rainbow is a rock classic.

Rainbow - 1
Black Sabbath - 0
Dio - 1

Again for me this is a hard choice but have to go with the Sabbath album here, as it just scrapes it over the other two.

Rainbow 1
Black Sabbath 1
Dio 1

Hard, but I'll go with Heaven and Hell.

Rainbow - 1
Black Sabbath - 2
Dio - 1

Sadly there are not enough Dio fans on the forum, so with a paltry 4 votes in total the Black Sabbath album takes it 2-1-1. Next up courtesy of RCVA are two huge progressive sludge metal albums from two bands I`m sure everybody on here knows well enough. Again take a few lines explaining your vote.
