Ihsahn for me. Don't really dig ICS Vortex at all, and I'm actually pretty high on Ihsahn.
Ihsahn: 4. ICS Vortex: 0 |
I had a really hard time sitting through ICS Vortex to be honest, really couldn't find anything redeeming in it. Ihsahn was decent though, if a little uneven.
Ihsahn: 5 ICS Vortex: 0 |
Is that everyone then? Damn I really thought Vortex would be more accessible. Then again... this is metal wars, not album wars, and yall appreciate metal.
Ihsahn: 6 ICS Vortex: 0 |
well, that was a clean sweep, I must say.
Anyone else have a suggestion? if so, message me to confirm your spot. If not, I will put one up tomorrow. |
LoathsomePete has next battle. Take it away....
|
Okay, well... looks like Loathsomepete is MIA from looking at this thread. So, I will put the battle up for him instead.
Next one is one I think is a more controversial battle, not the music, but rather what they represent to some. The departure points from earlier albums, both get some hate on by the fans of their earlier material, and are seen as weak by some too I suppose. So this should be interesting to see what comes out of this one. The Death n' Roll match. http://www.metal-archives.com/images/6/6.jpg?0454 vs. http://cps-static.rovicorp.com/3/JPG...0000103134.jpg sure this one will be interesting, go to it... |
Fun. I'ver never listened to Swansong but I'm a fan/defender of Wolverine Blues. Kinda looking forward to this.
|
Being a previous fan of Swansong, I was certain would take it, but I'm actually surprised how much I enjoyed Wolverine Blues. It has a certain heavy metal rawness that Swansong doesn't and that's what attracts me. However, I enjoy the heaviness and rhythm of the riffs quite a bit more with Swansong.
