That Midnight album is the best new metal that I have ever heard that is simply designed to sound like old metal. It's like Motorhead and Venom had a baby. I got through ONE Barbatos song, and it was so awful, there really isn't any choice here at all.

Instantly fell in love with the Barbatos album, it's punky metal and instantly addictive. I thought the Midnight album was good but it doesn't touch the Barbatos album.

Listening to Barbatos while drinking your guts out is awesome. Not a consciously fair decision, but what the heck, it gets my vote. Midnight is still great.

Barbatos is funny for a few minutes. Beyond that they're terrible, gimmicky, boring, and not fun.
