Sorry if I'm late but Shout at the Devil is better than the W.A.S.P. album nominated. So if my vote counts then it's a draw.

W.A.S.P.: 5

And I think the song "Fuck Like a Beast" truly sucks. The re-release of W.A.S.P. includes it and drags the album way down. Shock value can only go far. The rest of the album is far better than that song but it still can't beat "Shout at the Devil"

i've heard enough melodeath for a while already, really

haven't heard the At the Gates or Dark Tranquility albums, though I have Whoracle (whose name was too impolite for a store owner to say)

but i have heard ATG and DT's other stuff, so it's safe to say

I`m a big fan of all three of these melodic death metal albums and as much as I love that Whoracle album Slaughter of the Soul pretty much slaughters everything.......its one of the best metal albums ever recorded.
