Sorry, it was just my humorous response to Conan for removing the exclamation points. (The lowercase "t" is just because the filter doesn't let you use all caps in thread titles.)

Only 3 votes so far! If you haven't voted yet then do so, as I'll change this over tomorrow. Remember these aren't albums and only last about 20 mins.

I gave both EPs a fresh listen this morning, and though I do like the Deathspell Omega one a lot (especially the first and last tracks), I'm going to have to go with Muhr. Like I said before, that EP just transports me somewhere amazing.

Again Muhr tidy up 3-1 and now face the below collaboration.
Muhr Shepherd/Blood 2010
Versus Bongripper & Winters in Osaka—Meat Ditch 2008

very difficult choice cos I really don't like either
Muhr - there's just something about all the instruments, they just don't click together for me, for some reason, and the vocals stick out like a sore thumb. It tires too hard to create an atmoshpere but there's no "atmosphere" Bongripper - for the first 10 minutes or so, it is actually interesting, sounding like a remake of "Sympathy for the Devil" then it descends to usual stoner metal rubbish voted for the lesser of two evils:- Muhr - 0 Bongripper - 1 |

This one, for me, is close but not by much. Bongripper + Winters in Osaka is the champion. I've never really liked the Mühr EP and the contester definitely wins. I agree with Ill Douche that the latter part of the EP is boring compared to the 1st part. Curious; Which band used synths?
Bongripper + Winters in Osaka: 2 Mühr: 0

Bongripper. I like the scary ambience and mystery here. The build up is pretty good. A bit slow but it keeps the imagination going. Wonderful in a dark way.
I still find Muhr pretty boring. Gave it another listen and I can't find anything else to change my initial idea. Muhr - 0 Bongripper - 3

I think that would be Winters in Osaka. Bongripper is a strictly guitar/guitar/bass/drums band as far as I know.
As for me, why break my streak of voting for Mühr? Meat Ditch is great stuff, just not as great as Shepherd/Blood. Bongripper + Winters in Osaka: 3 Mühr: 1 |
