Are you voting for other people like Wild Bill? because the score should be:

Def Leppard -5
Ratt -3

Man, negative numbers again!? :p:

Anyway... I guess I'm voting Def Leppard. Both of these albums, as is generally the case with this type of music, felt just sort of okay to me. Neither was horrible but neither really grabbed me. Pyromania did have several songs that I knew on it though and they made we a little nostalgic so that gives it the leg up.

Def Leppard - 6
Ratt - 3

How well do you know the Def Leppard album and when did you first hear it? I first heard back in the mid 1980s and it was so revered back then and was held in the same esteem as anything put out by Iron Maiden. In fact they were the first group along with Van Halen and the Scorpions that got me into metal. Pyromania was also one of the biggest selling metal albums of the 1980s.

I'm not sure if I've ever listened to the entire thing all the way through until today to be honest. Obviously I knew the singles off of it, and my brother and cousins were into it back when it was new, so I'm sure I heard bits and pieces of it, but I was like 5 or 6 when it came out so it's not like I was sitting around listening to the whole thing on my own.

I know I don't often participate in the club, but I feel I must this time.

I cannot stand Ratt. When I think "worst bands/artists of all time" Ratt is near the top (bottom?) of that list. Leppard, though not my favorite band by any means, have some merit, this album in particular. Thus, the point goes to Def Leppard.

Def Leppard - 7
Ratt - 3

Def Leppard Pyromania was the second CD I ever owned after Thompson Twins Into the Gap. LOL I loved this album at the time, but it has aged just as bad as Out of the Cellar. I certainly give Pyromania more points then Out of the Cellar. If it ultimately came down to why i'd say the vocals are better for Leppard and I prefer their rythym guitar section better albeit Demartini is better at soloing.

Def Leppard 8
Ratt 3

I don't recall this ever being acceptable to say in public.

Oh, and yes, I use it too.

I don't recall it ever being used in public before. I just remember a friend of mine calling me that one day, and I thought it was a fun word.

"gollywog" is a funnier racial slur
