Harvey Milk win 3:2, but will they now just be brushed aside by the brilliance that is known as Neurosis!

James Says:Harvey Milk-A very strange album. Powerful and unique. Neurosis-I enjoy their later work a lot more but Neurosis are one of those bands nobody can agree on. A lot less abrasive than the other bands featured, they are said to have invented post-metal after all.

Harvey Milk My Love Is Higher Than Your Assessment of What My Love Could Be 1995

Versus

Neurosis Souls at Zero 1992

thread had suddenly dieded

my vote

Neurosis - people are often saying how they ripped off Isis and all that, but I for one seem to think they're better than their source material, or wateva. Souls at Zero is a more conventional metal album than what they embarked upon later. It doesn't really belong here as it's not even that sludgy. I love this one.

Harvey Milk - my assessment still stands but I like the Neurosis' better.

Harvey Milk - 0
Neurosis - 1

I normally wait until at least one of two people have placed their vote until I do mine. I've noticed all the album/song wars threads have died over the Easter break, hopefully things will pick up soon.

I love both these albums. I think the Harvey Milk one is a lot more faithful to the genre but I think Neurosis have the better album. I'll vote Neurosis.

I've often made no secret that Souls at Zero is one of my all time favourite metal releases so there is no contest here really. Who the hell on here said they were ripping off Isis! Isis are good but Neurosis are far more dominant in their sound.

i didn't

they're a rather clique-ish bunch, anyway, so i'd doubt they'd want to join any other music forums
