Ministry - Friend of the Devil
Decided to give this song it's own thread. Heard it recently on the radio here, and thought it was great. If they did not say it was Ministry I would have never guessed.... I am not a huge Grateful Dead fan, but I really enjoy this cover for what it is...
Thoughts?...

Its a very good cover of a classic Grateful Dead song and actually shows the range that a band like Ministry were capable of, maybe they should`ve branched out a lot more style wise.

Heh. That's pretty cool. I agree with US that Ministry should have branched out more. Though, to be fair, early in their career they branched out quite a bit. The first four albums are all pretty different from each other.
It's hard to believe they used to sound like this: |

They did do a lot of side projects though especially Al.
Did you check out their album of covers from 2008 Cover Up? Black Betty is fantastic fun. There is a decent cover of Louis Armstrong's What A Wonderful World on there too.
