Yeah. A good starting point there, each one has one essential album... well, not really into Arch Enemy personally.. the pre-Angela stuff was decent though.

If anybody wants to listen to a really interesting album, listen to this if you have not:
To the Depths, in Degradation by Infester : Reviews and Ratings - Rate Your Music A very sinister and evil record, much like say "Mental Funeral" by Autopsy or "Onward to Golgotha" by Incantation... this album came out in 1994, Infester were from Seattle, WA.. Think back to 1994 in Seattle and what you associate with it.. the last years of Grunge.. This was a dark and evil Death Metal album that sounded like it was from the very pits of hell. Infester started out as a band called Threnodist, who released 1 demo called "The Vomitous" in 1991, then changed their name to Infester, releasing an EP called "Darkness Unveiled" in 1992, which was also really great.. not as evil sounding as "To the Depths, in Degredation" but still great anyways. Nothing from Threnodist on youtube. But can find their demo if you search google for it. From "Darkness Unveiled" from "To the Depths, in Degredation" This one song doesnt sum up the entire album, the flow of the whole thing is amazing. Well worth seeking out, the album is OOP, but there may still be a couple copies on the Moribund Records website. I picked one up for $5.99 sans booklet, they said they found 20 copies in a box they thought was lost, that only had the CD and tray card (last i saw though they sent a b&W scan of front cover with it.. even if they do not, can find high quality images of the cover online and make your own) http://www.moribundcult.com/Merchant...tegory_Code=Ci Believe a few members now play in the band Drawn and Quartered.

tell me your thoughts on it when you do. I remember when I discovered it and how uncomfortable I felt during it.. It was frightening and intense.
Only other album that I have found that rivals it is: Divine Decomposition by Insatanity : Reviews and Ratings - Rate Your Music Still doesn't surpass Infester's album, but comes close. One of those albums I discovered at random doing a search and saw the cover and thought, I gotta check this out.. looks like a more intense version of the cover art to Gorguts amazing debut "Considered Dead"... I got my hopes up like, wow.. I am in for something amazing.. and I was blown away, not many manage to do that for me. Insatanity is kind of a cheesy name, but it is the music that counts.
