If only I lived in a high profile city like Boston I would have already been able to catch them before they quit. If there is a god, he took a dump on my face.
Of course I hope all goes well with the whole family situation. Not fun for anyone. |

They do usually, but we're typically at the bottom end of large tours like an after thought even though we are a ****ing cash cow in terms of ticket sales. Anyway, Illinois and Indiana are mid-western states. Completely different culture compared to the NE. Outside of the big cities like Chicago, St. Louis, or Indianapolis you either find cornfields or suburbs. Much slower paced way of living compared to out east. I'd say eastern Pennsylvania to NY would be the hub of the NE USA.

Interesting thing pointed out by a comedian about the US, and I actually think it holds true. The more rectangular the shape of a state is, the more boring it is. Notice how the Great Plains states in the west are almost all rectangles.
Yes Indiana is far from being the hustle-and-bustle place that NE is, but it has a very strange mix. I live in Hamilton county, a highly populated and fairly well-off suburbia above Indianapolis. Bunch of rich people here, preppy kids and whatnot, yet some cities even within the county have kids driving tractors to school. One moment you're in a giant strip mall, the next moment you have corn on either side of you |
