How to be in a three piece band
Hey all,
Ive been in a few bands before but now ive got this three piece thing going on and i need a bit of help... If anyone can give me any advice on how to beef the bands sound up, or what pedals and effects are good for Bass and Guitar, what the best amps are etc, that would be cool. Cheers, Turtle. |

Yeah, more than one vocal, and put a little reverb on them...not enough to here an echo, put mess around with it and you can hear the fullness come in. Also, don't just follow the guitar part with the bass, let it do its own thing. One other thing is to use full chords instead of power chords.
For Amps, assuming you have money: Mesa Bogie for distortion, and Marshal for Clean Ampeg for Bass Assuming you don't have money: Crate does the job well for both guitar and bass. |

Try not to drown out on instrument with another that sucks... Not too many solos either that sounds stupid
