MLM would you mind posting again except this time say "Kashmir was always played on the telly?" Thanks.
Kashmir was always played on the telly when I was a young lad, Frown.

I recognised the tune when I heard LZ4 (Kashmir is on it).

Definitely Kashmir and I first heard it on telly.

EDIT - It's Physical Graffiti actually. Definitely was on the telly though.

Thanks.

Pretty sure that Kashmir was played on a Danelectro and a couple of Les Pauls though.

...maybe play the outro too.
Ah. I thought it was some guitar player thing, like you were going to play along with it or something.

Just surprising really that they are so well known and that song is such a classic and yet I only heard it when I went out of my way to listen to their albums.

I've never listened to classic rock stations but still recognised most of the well known tracks before I got more into music.

Kashmir has been used on telly a lot so that explains that one.
You might also have known it from that Puff Daddy and Jimmy Page song.

EDIT: Rereading your post and this joke doesn't make sense in context like I thought it did. **** you.
I think it worked well. Do they call Telecasters tellys? (shrug) No, I actually thought it was a good joke. Go, you.

I've learned and forgotten that tune many times, but yeah, if I feel the urge I'll skip to the solo and try to follow along. It's good practice for note bending.

Stairway to Heaven just because BR is overrated as ****. I'm sorry that's the first thing that comes to mind when most people think of Queen when they have so many songs that are better.

I'm not the biggest Queen fan, but Bohemian Rhapsody is a fun song. It belongs to the quarter of their song output that isn't a garbage fire.

Never cared about Zep and never will. Just boring cock rock.

My local rock station does a top 100 countdown every year on Labour Day. Their top ten is virtually the same. "Smells Like Teen Spirit" might sneak in upon occasion.
