Why do I have to know his life story to appreciate his works? I don't agree with this argument at all. Every peice of art work would be preempted with a biography if this were the case. If I can listen to Sigur Ros and not understand a damn word but still appriciate it, then I sure as hell don't need to know their life story.

And I think its Shaman. And actually, I can just say he sucks without knowing anything about him. Im almost certain thats "MusicKNowitall's" whole M.O.

when he was doing acid he heard a concert in his head and he wrote down the lyrics so maybe th elyrics were reflectingon his feelings that he couldnt expose wile sobered up. this information is from "BREAK ON THROUGH THE LIFE AND DEATH OF JIM MORRISON" its a kick ass book long but kick ass

You can use alot of words and say nothing at all. When a lower lifeform insults something great like JIM, it has quite the oposite effect for if you consider some to be inferior, why should you agree with what they say. If fact if someone you didn't like agreed with you it would be insulting. so you see your opposing opinion is a good thing.
