''Map of Metal''
I don't know if anyone have seen this site: Map of Metal
It's this really nice idea trying to map the influences and origin of different styles of metal while painting it up as a map for some graphical goodness. If it's already been linked, I'm sorry. I couldn't find it with a search.

A Biased Opinion!
Maybe I missed seeing them on the map? but I never seen Judas Priest mentioned. Judas Priest should be one of the most innovative and influential bands to the metal genre ,period.
I personally hold "Priest" above Black Sabbath, as far as my opinion goes. Judas Priest, one of the most influential bands to" Metal", then Sabbath or Led Zeppelin, etc. |
