Yeah, Fear Factory would show their groove metal style most starting with "Demanufacture". "Concrete" (which was produced by Ross Robinson, who would become the most prolific Nu-Metal producer later) was basically straight up Death Metal with a slight hint at the industrial sound they would go further into on "Soul of a New Machine". But "Soul..." was the more influential album. Burton C. Bell was basically a pioneer of the vocal style Rob Flynn would do with Machine Head. The Clean vocals and the Death Metal vocals, he was influential in that vocal style which has been copied by many bands since.

I suppose they have that. I mean I can listen to that album start to finish and dig it.
I wonder what Forbidden would of been like if Rob Flynn didn't leave to go to Vio-Lence. "Forbidden Evil" is actually a good thrash album.. featuring Paul Bostaph on drums as well... who I think is great.

Geezer Butler's band, this album featured vocals by Burton C. Bell of Fear Factory. Excellent album.
