The Psychic Paramount
"The Psychic Paramount is an American experimental rock group from New York City... The Psychic Paramount have a raw, loud and harshly distorted sound to their music, often compared to the likes of Acid Mothers Temple, Lightning Bolt, Boredoms and High Rise."
-Wikipedia I've been listening to this band a lot lately. They're pretty super duper.

Count me in. The first half of the first track posted is perfectly in my remit and does have a Lightning Bolt vibe which I like but it's not like I haven't heard it before but the second half that kicks in with the ambient dronal sound certainly makes the band more intriguing.
Linkage would be nice

Wow, I like it very much. Spacey noise rock, intense psychedelic jams (that actually have a purpose), this is just right for me. Thanks for posting. The first and the last song I like the best. I just did a search and they're on the last album, so I guess that's the one I'm gonna check out first.

Sorry it's been a while to reply. Yeah really good stuff. Not wholly original but it reminds me of a swollen afterthought of Turing Machine. The same intensity but not quite so rigid. Decent stuff.
I have only listened to a few tracks but liked it straight off. Definitely one for the MP3 player.
