ok, im a wee bit of an GnR fan...Axl has great vocals, but in some songs...most of them acutally...he always sounds like hes gonna blow a load all over himself....thats really the one thing that ruins a good song....like welcome to the jungle...great song....no need for the noises......does anyone agree with me????????

I just think Axl Rose is an ******* in general. That has nothing to do with anything, but that would be my opinion...Opinions seem to matter very much:)

Seriously though, I think the noises are what makes him different than others....or...think he's different. Either way, it's not so so bad.

Axl Rose is a ****. He once sacked one of GnR members for stepping out of line while playing a guitar solo.

Not to mention the **** he did to Kurt Cobain. I don't love Kurt Cobain or anything, infact I think he gets far too much credit than he should just because he's dead now...But, still, that was just wrong.

Axl Rose is a wee bit of a dushbag because yes, he tipped the Nirvana trailer with Frances in it but not only that. The main reason is because he is obsessed with the massive success of his personal career and not of his band(s)? Yeah, I don't even know what band is GNR anymore because he's gone through so many damn members. He's a greedy s.o.b.

douche bags are cool, i'd rather be a douche bag than an enema. think about that one. I do agree though he is extremely greedy. It would be understandable if he wasn't so noncholant about it, but the fact that he's so set on himself being one notch under god ruins everything...in more ways than one.

Its funny how conversations change isn't it? The question was "what ja think of his voice", we end up talking about his character. Not that I'm complaining, just want to say....Keep up the good work!

Well, someones wearing her smartass pants today. At any rate, I think Axl kicks ass, just like anything else, im commenting on his preformance at the office (as it were) and not on who he is. If you had a post where it was like Axl vs. Bono (AmyLeeFan do not make this a post) then yeah I'd probably skewer him there.

I stated how i feel his voice effects the band and how I react to it, I just also through in what I thought about him. Ass wipe.

I like axls vocals, hes pretty good for what he does, his tone is not for all tastes of course...And what does someones personality have to do with their music?.... Nothing.

And for the thread...Axl is a great vocalist, I don't care how crap he is technically or how much of a prick he is backstage the fact is he made Guns N Roses what they are. You can comment on Slash and how vibrant his guitar was but when your in the car and you want to sing there is no one better (exageration) to sing along to than the uniquely imperfect Axl Rose.

i personally don't like his voice...in fact i can't stand it. And i reeeally didn't like his voice when he did a cover of Live and Let Die for the "in this ever changing world which we live in" line, his voice gets so...shrieky. But that's just me. i realize like...everyone who posted before me said they like his vocals. well, to each his own. just my opinion.

Okay, i dont even know if im doin the whole thread thing right but anyways..

..what do you guys think of axl rose?? just wondering, tbh i really actually hate him but i think his band is pretty good,, im not gonna hate gnr just because their frontman makes me go :bonkhead:

I think he's an awesome singer/front man. He just has these temper tantrums that turns me off and he's sort of an ass. I find it more lame that Guns n' Roses now are just him and buckethead, and everyone else went to Velvet Revolver.

Great frontman, underrated songwriter, huge douchebag.

when i saw axl belly flop to the concrete that had a humorous aspect to it after hearing him whine and complain about aerosmith not lettim him use their p/a. but when he got himself punched in the face, that was a scene i will never forget. :bowdown:

he got booed off the stage and didn't come back to philly for a long, long, time. axl ruined that band. imo the only cool thing about g&r was slash.
as much as i dig ron thal from his bumblefoot days, he can't replace slash.
