I havent heard anything about a new record, other than Josh Homme has confirmed one.
I like every QOTSA record to be honest, and theres not many bands I can say that about once they go past 2 or 3 albums. The self titled is my favourite and then I'm not sure. I do actually REALLY like the last one and am tempted to say its a close second. |

I only like tracks off their previous albums but think that Era Vulgaris is superb. I'm probably in the minority though.

I'd probably say that's my favourite, maybeee. It's a far more meaty affair and i've been waiting for them to do an album where they turn the distortion up a bit more.

Well, its a long time since I listened to R or SFTD. Especially SFTD. I may have to give them both another spin. I dont like to disqualify albums based purely on commercial success and therefore the amount they are overplayed but I fear I got a bit bored of SFTD and am possibly overlooking it somewhat.
