I've found QotSA to be average in some aspects and above in others. That said, "Songs for the Deaf" is great.

I was never really into them until I heard Dave Grohl drummed for them. Pretty cool band though.

Holy cow, people have been going crazy over supergroups these days.

But this one is guaranteed not to suck, I mean how can they possibly f*ck up a lineup like that?

and in case you were wondering it's the same lineup that recorded Songs for the Deaf, albeit Olivieri replaced by John Fucking Paul Fucking Jones.

the new QOTSA LP can wait a while if this is true.

Oliveri is a rather underrated bassist but yeah
