No doubt one of my favorite thrash metal bands ever. Sucks they only released the two albums and called it quits but maybe that was for the best. Two good releases nonetheless.

There's a second one? I thought they only got one album. Sad sign of a band totally screwed over by horrible management. "Damien", and "Crying For Death" are about as good as thrash gets, imo. I can't even imagine how long it took them of practicing/rehearsing to establish such a strong relationship between the relationship of vocals, drums, and guitar a the speed in which some parts of that song. Synchronizing all of that together is a true feat of instrumental skill.

Well its not an actual full length its a demo but its actually longer than Spectrum of Death. The name of it is Destruction System. I think certain copies of SoD had the songs from Destruction System on it though, so yeah and no.

Just gave Destruction System a download. Demo, or no, worth a listen.

Very good debut in a raw speedy style similar to the Possessed. Morbid Saint is one of those internet discovers that got uncovered by those rare few that originally experienced this band. From what I remember, they were signed by a Mexican record company, and this disc was only available in the U.S. as an import. If you like thrashy proto-death/black metal, there was the French band, Massacra, that also kicked arse.

I love Morbid Saint, but I don't think their albums ever got released on a Cd, so it's pretty much impossible to get a copy of their albums. Shame.

^In the mid-00's somebody released Morbid Saints stuff on CD. The labels name escapes me right now but I am pretty sure its been re-released within the last 6 or 7 years.

Listening to Destruction System, and it's fairly average. Spectrum of Death is still astonishing.
