Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravening wolves.

Oh, that wolf can pounce this sheep Any Time.

Besides, The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is The Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Ezekiel 25:17.

Exactly why I choose Raptor Jesus Christ (or pretty much anybody) over James Murphy.

Nothing, Mr. Inane. Read back.

Just so the thread doesn't go extinct here's my probably favorite Mastodon tune. Discuss.

It's tight cause it doesn't have any of that lame 80s-ish singing. Screaming is where it's at.

^ Screaming and yelling worked better for Mastodon's sound, but overall there needs to be a shift in more bands that have good and unique singers that have their own sound. Screaming is the most overused component in heavy music today and it's beyond aged.

Crusher Destroyer is definitely one of their strongest songs, lyrically, in composition, and it's so to the point and almost catchy, it's the perfect way to introduce their career. The first three tracks on that album are incredible. Workhorse is fairly good, a little linear, but Ole Nessie more than makes up for it.

Crusher Destroyer slays, easily the most badass tune Mastodon has put out.
