The guitar work reminded me too much of A7X. It wasn't a bad song, but not my favorite.

I think I'll like it more when I hear how it fits in with the rest of the album.

Samesies, cuz it's definitely going on the CD shelf. But from what I read in Rolling Stone (hahaaaa that's right) today in their in the studio section, this sounds like it's gonna be their really fun album (ie., Stargasm's about fucking in space and Blasteroid's contains a line which howls about drinking blood). Also, there's no concept. Dailor wanted to make it a spacey sci fi adventure, according to the ministory, but instead they went for the jams.

I'd like for this album to be similar to Leviathan and Blood Mountain (which it is shaping up to be), but I wouldn't mind its follow-up to be more along the lines of Crack The Skye.

I want an instrumental album personally.

The new single is good enough I guess although nothing spectacular. It does kind of remind me of the sound on Leviathan only polished up a good bit, there doesn't seem to be much experimentation going on but I can't really judge until I've heard the entire album and how the song fits into the album.
