I have to admit that I was very disappointed at seeing them live. I think I built them up too much in my head to blow me away.

They were really tight but they just didn't grab me as a live act. Still unsure what was wrong with them but they just didn't engross me at all

Where did you see them? Outdoor festival type shows aren't noted for their sound quality

I've heard a lot of great things about this band. I'm gonna check them out.

It was a festival Friday night but they were indoors for the show and the room was barely a quarter full and the SQ was very good.

I think that I would like to see them on their own headlining in their own right. Some bands just don't fit at festivals for some reasons

I've seen Live at the Aragon, they don't move around much on stage but they have good lighting and images. I think with most prog music it's about the experience not the performers. And mr you should start with Leviathan.

I own Live At The Aragon and thoroughly enjoy it myself. Has anyone seen this new video for a leftover Crack The Skye song? It's pretty awesome...

Sounds melodically, straight out of Leviathan with the technical aggression of Remission and the production values of Blood Mountain. Maybe a tad out of place on Crack The Skye, but I wouldn't have minded it being on there.

Ya think? How so? It's my fave album of theirs honestly.

And Lee...that sucks that they weren't so great live. I always imagined seeing a live show of theirs would be epic.

Brann Dailor has been quoted as saying this go around the sound is more akin to Leviathan in that its not very proggy as it is more riff oriented. He also went on to say the overall sound is like a super-heavy Led Zeppelin. Nothing wrong with ambition I suppose. Def looking forward to this release.
