I don't even really like Brent's screaming. I remember the first time I heard Remission and wondered wtf happened to the singer on Workhorse? Turns out it was Hinds instead of Sanders that I was hearing and that's why the vocals were so high-pitched, monotone, and awkward sounding. I wish he was satisfied to just play guitar.

One of my favorite bands. Love these guys. Going to pick up a copy of it. Was going to download it, but rather support these dudes.

Leviathan has actually been my least favorite of all the studio albums. It never clicked with me as much as the others did; i though it was a little flat. I'll definitely listen to it more though, it's not bad at all.
Remission has been my new favorite, since my favorite thing about Mastodon is the jamming, and this album definitely proportions jamming over lyrics. Their lyrics aren't that bad, but i think the atmospheres they create paint just as great a picture as their lyrics could. I think Blood Mountain is still my favorite though, it's the most dynamic in song-by-song style to me, and it's got a really good classic metal sound, with more jazziness, hardcoreness, and less corniness. Actually, it's definitely my favorite. Oh, I got Brent Hinds' autograph the other day too! Although he didn't really wanna give it to me. (i hope you guyz wanna hear about it)

^Tell me more! Why was he reluctant?
And my favorite album is still Blood Mountain, but Crack The Skye is ever so close. The concept of Crack The Skye and the amount of emotion the three vocalists put into their performances are what sets it apart from their other albums.
