If you hate black metal so much I can't see how you like a grindcore band like Anal ****. Both incorporate mostly indecipherable vocals, blast beats, raw sounding guitars and low production value overall. However, including its subgenres, black metal has much more to offer than grindcore in terms of progressiveness.

I think you seem to be rather close minded, and not very well versed in your subject here. It is okay to have an opinion, but at least have something to back this opinion up. Have you listened to any black metal bands?

I guess they would be a little boring "these days" especially. That doesn't mean that they are/were a bad band during the era and pinnacle of their career. I always thought they were a good hard rockin' band with a solid rhythm section. Better than a lot of other bands from the same era in my opinion.
Krokus was a lot less known than most other 80s bands, they catered to the the fans of more underground bands/less known audience of the era, more so than Dokken even. Krokus in the same sense (as above) employed a hard driving rhythm section a lot like the bands Ratt and Cinderella. These bands had very good drummers in my opinion. (Solid 80s Rock) And a few good singles to claim their fame. Our Love by Krokus is a rock ballad classic. |
