That goes to Mark Mallman. On October 10, 2010, he completed "Marathon 3", a 78 hour long song complete with 576 pages of lyrics.

There's no longer an official world record for loudest ever concert for obvious reasons. After doing a bit of research, the loudest ever volume recorded for a concert was at a Leftfield gig in 1996 which peaked at 137 dB. Manowar did reach a volume of 139 dB however but that was during a sound check in 2008.

I`ve been looking at your wiki link and it also states that a Deep Purple concert in 1972, left three members of the audience unconscious.......Hell Yer!

People used to spontaneously vomit or end up with blood dripping from their ears at Swans concerts during the 80's!
