Staind, anyone? Trapt? Limp Bizkit? Creed? Ra? Powerman 5000? Static X?
Mainstream metal has really lost a lot of hold. A band like Divine Heresy, I don't even find interesting or good. The same story with Black Label Society. It's a recycled sound. Agro as a motherfuker, but what good is it? It reminds me of dumbasses with crew cuts that go to shows to start fights and masturbate to "Road House". |

It's more of a personal vendetta against Korn for me, than the fact that they're just bad.
Growing up in small town Minnesota, every wannabe badass on the block is a huge Korn fan, and I spent years and years being bombarded with it from all angles--and it killed every last bit of tolerance I had. |
