Haha, Anal C*nt. I was a fan for about ten minutes before I realized they were boring. Along the same lines as a Necro, the shock humor wears thin really fast for me now that I'm over the age of 13.

Theres a local promoter up here in Newcastle who books an annual extreme metal all dayer called Blastonbury and not so long ago they put that all dayer on and a warm up gig the night before it and paid Anal C*nt to fly in for it. They played 2 nights in a row, turned up high as kites and didnt bring any instruments with them at all. The first night in Newcastle they borrowed a guitar, played an acoustic set and then threw it into the crowd when they were done. The next night in Sunderland they played their show and then got arrested for ripping a radiator off the hotel wall and throwing it out the window! Safe to say they made a few enemies with the organisers and the other, local bands on the bill after they spent what must have been most of the budget on getting them here.

I hate to be the bearer of ugly words but I can't imagine the promoter is that intelligent if he wanted to book AC for anything. They're awful...in every sense of the word.

No. AC are intense, loud, abrasive, somewhat obnoxious, but very charming.

OK so rapcore is rap fused with punk rather than rock or metal? Examples? I hate sub genres.

Well, the "core" attached to the end of anything usually means hardcore is part of the equation. But I agree that the type of hardcore in the rapcore mix is often so close to metal that I don't see much of a difference between it and rap-metal.

All I posted was basically off the wikipedia article. I don't like subgenres either and since most people don't really know them, you often end up having to educate people what they mean before there's any point using them descriptively in a talk about music.

If I listen to anything with core in it, I'm usually blissfully ignorant.

I like hardcore quite a bit, which is the source of all this "core" business.
