I think I'm going to have to say Manowar. They make me ashamed of being a Metal Fan. Twisted Sister are not far behind either but I do like one track of theirs.

No. It's 'I Believe In Rock 'N' Roll' although saying that I don't mind 'Nature Of The Beast' either!

Heh. "I Believe In Rock n Roll" was great. Hilariously bad Tenacious D-esque lyrics. "The Beast" was okay, not really my bag though.
I have to say I kind of respect Twisted Sister for (a) acting like they knew their music was shit at a time when their peers were acting like hotshots and (b) for being so damn ugly while inhabiting a genre full of prettyboys. |

There is that point but I have never had much time for some of the imagery that's associated with Metal. It is no wonder that it is not taken seriously in some quarters. Although Dee snyder seems quite articulate and has campaigned against censorship laws.
