I didn't know Limp Bizkit was considered metal, but if that's the case than they get my vote as one of the worst. Perhaps the fact that I couldn't even recognize it as such should be a telling sign.
Plus, Fred Durst is a douche.

I don't know if Nu Metal counts, haven't seen much of the previous replies posted, but I'd say out of the known-ones Linkin Park, cause not only they suck, they also have fans, and nothing hurts me more then listening to my friends singing along to "In the End".
btw I've seen a lot of hate for Slipknot in this forum, and really they are not that bad, it's just they mostly care about the image and the optical effect of their shows and videos, and that is what their fans are after as well imo. anw I'm not a fan, so I don't care... |

I'm not a fan of either band, but I can't agree with that... as much as I really didn't get the whole RATM thing, their songs at least sounded like attempts at songwriting with a little bit more than a neanderthal mentality...
Limp Bizkit always struck me as the official "dumbing down" period of nineties rock music... when the sound of previous bands and artists of that era was taken and placed against cliche and idiotic lyrics with little or no dept to them whatsoever... ...and it feels like quite a slippery slope after that, unfortunately...

Slipknot are not the worst. They've got some talent. Joey is actually a pretty good drummer, he is just stuck with some ****ty band mates, imo.
I think overrall, If you're counting Limp Bizkit, then Limp Bizkit. Or Linkin Park, they're awful. |

Thank god the whole rap / metal fad is over, thats one thing that got real tired, real fast...
It sucked when a few Australian bands started doing the same thing... they ended up sounding like bad knockoffs of a bad musical style...
