Default Anyone else not understand ''glam/hair/ metal??
Anyone else sick of little kids bashing Fall Out Boy and The Jonas brothers, and saying that ''classic rock'' like ''Poison'' and ''Gun's N Roses'' is awesome?


Since when are these bands classic rock? In my opinion there just a step ahead of boy bands.....


And wtf is all the praise these bands get just for being old!

Don't dunch Gn'R with Poison, it's not fair. But yes, people tend to forget that these 'hair' bands were the equivalent of Nicleback today.

I generally think of hair metal as being one of the running jokes of rock music, as do most music fans I'd imagine. I mean, hell, even the name "hair metal" is itself a putdown.

I have to admit I have a soft spot for Dokken's first 3 albums...

You know who I'm talking about though. Those people who still watch Brett Michael's reality shows and complain that there isn't any good music being made these days...
