I have to rock the Ratt and Cinderella sometimes. Hanoi Rocks were a decent band and Faster Pussycat had the odd track worthy of a listen.
Poison however were garbage as were the UK counterparts Tigertailz. The best band to come out of this genre in the U.K at least were Dogs D'Amour who came across as a gin soaked acoustic rock hybrid fathered by Bukowski. They really could have been something special if it wasn't for the demon drink.

They should have been a one hit wonder with "Welcome To the Jungle". Seriously, the body of the rest of their work is terrible. Especially since most their hits are ballads, and who the **** is Axl Rose to sing a ballad? It's like asking Katy Perry to sing Cannibal Corpse.
